10:30 am, Worship Service, CREATING A POSITIVE OUTLOOK: FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE Rev. Susan Manker-Seale. As much as I'm into refining a theology for the future, the three values which the Jews and early Christians upheld as central to living a good life two thousand years ago are still essential today. In the face of continuing war, collapsing mortgage loans, loss of jobs, and a growing recession, what can help us through the darkest nights is what sustains human hearts everywhere and always. This will be a Unitarian Universalist look at why and how to foster faith, hope and love in our lives, including our religious community. We'll add joy to that mix, and Curtiss will tell you the story of the kite man of Darfur. Paula Trahan is Worship Associate.
12:30 pm, Art Reception, Sanctuary. Anne Leonard, Artist
