This next Friday, April 11, a group of us that have been hiking together for a while have planned a hike up Bear Canyon to Seven Falls. This hike initiates with a short $5 tram ride from the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area and follows Bear Creek 2.6 miles up the canyon to the falls crossing the stream a few times on the way. We are meeting at 8am at the NWUU Church to share rides, or at the Tram at 8:45. This hike is moderate and will take about 3-4 hours depending on how often and long we stop to enjoy the canyon and stream.
We are extending this opportunity to everyone at UUCNWT who has an interest in local hikes hoping to create a broader interest. If you decide to come be sure to bring water, sunscreen and footwear that is appropriate for stream crossing on wet stones.
